Cartagena is located on the southeast side of Spain. This city doubles as both a fabulous tourist destination and a naval station. Cartagena is a historic town featuring a harbor with its forts still intact. This town has roots going back to its founding, in 230 B.C.

Cartagena is a surprisal for many tourists. Outside the walls, the terrain appears unfriendly, or even primitive. Yet, inside the city the architecture is both antediluvian and beautiful. Like many European cities, Cartagena has an exciting blend of the old and the new. Restoration of the ancient city is an ongoing process and ensures that future generations will have the ability to see what is currently known.
